Referencing a gift agreement in a will or trust
Often, donors have established gift agreements with the University of Florida Foundation. Gift agreements can enable donors to designate their gift to a specific purpose at the University of Florida. If the testator/donor has a named gift agreement with the University of Florida Foundation, the specific name of the gift agreement should be included in the bequest language.
I give, devise, and bequeath to the University of Florida Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit organization located in Gainesville, Florida, a gift subject to the terms of a separate gift agreement (named) __________ between the testator and the University of Florida Foundation, Inc.
